How did you begin your career in construction? I was working as a consultant with General Industry clients. Eventually I landed some construction companies as clients.
How do you contribute to the overarching safety of your company’s workforce? I have full time workplace safety responsibilities. I am always working with managers and employees on incorporating safety into all aspects of a project.
What does your company do to ensure safety on the job? Our supervisors conduct daily workplace exams and job briefings with all workers involved. We are always coordinating activities with customers to meet or exceed both companies expectations with worker safety.
How can the public help keep construction workers and work zones safe? Put the phone down and focus on getting to the destination safely.
